Compilation Post

Anchor 1

In EDLD 5317, I developed a publication highlighting five dynamic tools designed to enhance reading instruction. This article is aimed at teachers, offering practical guidance on integrating these tools into formal assessments, small group activities, rotational learning, assignment creation, and overall classroom teaching practices. The article aims to provide teachers with efficient tools, eliminating the need for extensive searching. Having personally tested each tool, I can attest to their transformative impact on teaching practices.

My initial ideas were all gathered on my Publication Outline. In my outline for EDLD 5317, I included a list of potential publications and detailed submission requirements for each, outlining specific rules and guidelines. I also included the significance of writing this article, emphasizing the need to share firsthand experiences with these transformative teaching tools to benefit educators seeking efficient solutions. My ideas were then finally put into a Publication Rough Draft. In the draft of my publication for EDLD 5317, I recounted my initial experiences as a first-year teacher navigating the search for online tools. I then introduced and elaborated on five specific tools, ensuring that my explanations met the requirements outlined by my chosen publication option.

My Final Publication is written in a form that is easy to read and ready to be submitted to the publisher. To draw attention to my article, I created a Media Project. This brief video aims to attract viewers to engage with my article. Its goal is to promote the article effectively and capture the attention of educators, encouraging them to read and benefit from its insights.

Peer Assessment

A group of peers and I collaborated and agreed on the rubric below for the peer assessment and provide feedback to each other. We created a group chat on GroupMe to be able to collaborate and share our documents. My average score from my peers was a 44/50. I really appreciated their feedback and was able to make some corrections and explain more in depth how some apps will help with reading. Overall, the feedback was great to help me finalize my rough draft.
