What is Action Research?

Action Research is an intensive form of research that enables educators to enhance and refine their own practices. As educators, we strive to ensure that our efforts are effective and contribute to student success. To be successful in an action research we must plan, act, develop and reflect.

When planning action research, educators must educate themselves on the advantages and barriers related to their topic. This process helps deepen our understanding of the subject matter. By doing so, we can anticipate what to expect when implementing our plan. Researching the topic allows us to avoid bias and gain a more comprehensive understanding beyond our own knowledge.

In this detailed action plan, you will find my research question, the purpose of my study, my research design and methods, the data I will collect, and a brief description of my findings from the literature review.

I also shared who I will share it with and what I will after I finish the research. As an educator we must always reflect and analyze what we can do to improve our actions to student success.
